Brother DCP-7030 Driver Download - Brother DCP-7030 is a printer design compact mono laser MFP that would not look out of place in any home or small office. It costs only 79 pounds, it is the cheapest mono laser printer here and, despite not having the ADF and fax capabilities, is ideal for copying and printing everyday tasks. DCP-7030 only has a USB connection, which means that you have to configure your PC to share or buy a router with printer support if you want to use it over the network. PaperPort 11SE driver suite includes document management software, but if you prefer to use a different package or you do not need a document management, including the installation disk version of the suite without PaperPort. This printer has a native resolution of 600x600dpi but capable of effective resolution 1,200x600dpi with software enhancement. This proved very helpful in our test photos, which have sharp lines, subtle shading and dithering is much less visible in HQ 1200 mode. A set of three pages of pictures took 22 seconds to print at this quality improved, compared with 17 seconds on the printer's native resolution of 600dpi.
We were impressed with the speed and quality of the DCP-7030 gray printed document, which appears at 19.2ppm phenomenal. Although there are some dithering yellow in places, mold looks great, with an excellent range of colors and smooth curves. Standard text printed on the first page of 20.3ppm fast and appeared in just 11 seconds. Scan quality is limited by the maximum optical resolution 600x2,400dpi, but scans are sharp and accurate color. Toner costs just 1.5p per mono page is also very good, and the total cost of ownership is also surprisingly low, although the cost of replacing the drum unit separately. DCP-7030 does not have a lot of features but a great value if you are after good quality compact MFP with low price. This is a personal printer ideal for light to medium work load, which makes us the Budget Buy.
